Post-care instructions for clients after getting semi-permanent makeup:
1. **Avoid Touching:** Refrain from touching the treated area to prevent the introduction of bacteria. Only clean the area as instructed.
2. **Gentle Cleaning:** Clean the treated area using a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and water. Gently pat dry with a clean tissue or cotton pad.
3. **Apply Recommended Ointment:** Use the provided or recommended ointment/cream sparingly to keep the area moisturized. Follow the aftercare product instructions.
4. **No Makeup:** Avoid applying makeup on the treated area for at least a week or until the skin has fully healed. This includes foundation, powders, and eyeshadows.
5. **Avoid Sun Exposure:** Protect the treated area from direct sunlight. If sun exposure is unavoidable, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen after the initial healing period.
6. **No Swimming or Saunas:** Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas for at least a week to prevent the risk of infection and color fading.
7. **Avoid Excessive Moisture:** Be cautious with water exposure during the initial healing period. Avoid excessive moisture, such as heavy rain, to prevent pigment loss.
8. **Skip Intense Exercise:** Refrain from intense workouts or activities that cause excessive sweating for the first few days to prevent sweating off the pigment.
9. **No Picking or Scratching:** Resist the urge to pick at scabs or flakes. Let them naturally fall off to avoid disrupting the healing process and losing pigment.
10. **Attend Follow-up Appointments:** Schedule and attend any recommended follow-up appointments for touch-ups or adjustments.
Remember, individual healing may vary, and it's essential for clients to follow these instructions diligently for optimal results. If any concerns arise, you should contact their practitioner for guidance.
